VITASICULA this is us – Karin und Salvatore. We have been living between Sicily and Switzerland for quite a few years now. We are addicted Sicilians and unweavering Swiss and we live the best of both worlds here and there. “Where Taste meets Culture” has always been our credo and still is…
We produce olive oil from our olive grove and the helpers/pickers mostly from abroad are our most competent olive oil ambassadors. We have guests staying for “slow-holidays” and relaxing days in the hills of Sicily where we live and share our “Vita Sicula” – sicilian living. We grow tomatoes that taste of summer and southern sunshine and we produce the “Mammas Tomato Sauce” that we ship to the north to make you taste the south.
Sicily is intense, full of colour, manyfold and never dull. When we travel and visit clients, chefs, friends and our Graniti-Murales-Artists we always have some “Sicily” in our trunk for cooking together. And we just love the conversations and the new projects that come up as if by themselves while we prepare the meals ..
